Happy new year!
This month, we’re sharing two updates to speed up your workflow. First, an expansion of our email templates that lets you assign the right email template when setting up an interview. Secondly, a new tab on the profile of a new hire in onboarding that allows you to see all tasks associated with that new hire.
Let’s dive in…
Create multiple email templates for interviews
If you have multiple types of interviews, then you may find it helpful to adjust the language of the email invitations and confirmations for each interview type. Now, you’ll be able to set up multiple email templates for interview-related emails, set a default templates for each interview, and select the most appropriate template when you send an invitation or confirmation email to a candidate.
View all tasks associated with a new hire in onboarding
When viewing the profile of a new hire in your onboarding portal, you’ll see a new tab for Tasks. On that tab, you’ll see all tasks associated with that new hire, such as a task for the IT team to set up the person’s equipment, or a task for your colleague to invite the person to a department meeting. From there, you’ll also be able to edit or delete tasks, or mark them as complete.
Even more updates
In addition to the new features above, now you can also…
- Schedule custom reports to begin running on the same day you set them up
- Manage jobs, such as closing, archiving, or deleting them, directly from an individual job page
- Set parts of your company structure as ‘Inactive’ to remove it from your careers site and prevent users from creating new roles under that structure

Learn how to create and manage email templates. Email templates allow you to save time by creating pre-defined reusable templates for the messages you send most often. For example your organization may have standard candidate rejection email phrasing, and templates allow you to consistently apply that phrasing across all your departments and locations.
